robert J. Cox
About Me
Robert Cox is a school counselor with over 12 years of experience, primarily at the high school level. He recently completed his doctorate in counselor education and supervision at Oregon State University where, in 2010, he also earned a master's in counseling. Dr. Cox earned his bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in business from the University of Idaho in 2007.
As a school counselor, Dr. Cox enjoys working with students to support their academic, personal, and career goals. He has served as a district school counseling professional learning community facilitator for six years, a site supervisor for school counseling interns, and mentor to new school counselors in the district.
Outside of the school setting, Dr. Cox serves as adjunct faculty at George Fox University and Lewis and Clark College where he teaches Foundations of School Counseling and Motivational Strategies for School Counselors, respectively
